Our Hydro-Therm Tank Cleaning System is SAFE and ECONOMICAL. No one enters the tank until the oil is gone and the air is fresh. The sludge is converted to a smooth refinable oil with an dollar value that often exceeds the cost of cleaning. No chemicals are involved. This cleaning method is applicable only to crude oil tanks or similar products with a specific gravity lower than 1.0 (water)

HYDRO-THERM TANK CLEANING PROJECT
MTS cleaned 10 large crude oil storage tanks for a refinery in Ontario, Canada. Instead of having to dispose of large amounts of sludge, MTS recovered $1 million in crude oil. We received a letter of congratulations for converting 21 million litres of slop material to clean and usable product, representing a one-time profit gain of $4 million to the refinery. Significant additional cost savings were realized by the reduced amount of wastes to be disposed.
To complete this project, MTS used its Hydro-Therm Tank Cleaning System, using one tank as a collection tank and then cleaning each tank successively. MTS took approximately 3 weeks to complete each tank. On single tank projects, we draw off product clean enough to inject directly into oil pipelines or refinery process streams.
